The Alumni of the Year Award recipient will be selected by representatives of the College Faculty, Employees, members of the Foundation Board and the Alumni Association Board.
The award is chosen based on the following criteria:
- Service, commitment and/or support to Western Iowa Tech and its students
- Outstanding personal and/or professional achievement
- Service to the community
