Completion of the coursework within this certificate is one of the mandatory requirements to apply for a coaching authorization or endorsement. According to the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners (BoEE), "All coaches (paid OR volunteer) are required to have either their coaching authorization, or a coaching endorsement listed on a valid teaching license."
