Moped Safety

Riding a moped is fun, but awareness of safety and the rules of the road is a priority. This six-hour course is required for anyone under 16 prior to being issued a license to operate a moped and satisfies the Iowa Department of Transportation requirements. Classroom instruction only.

Registration Information

• You must be at least 14, or within six months of 14 at class start date to enroll.
• You are advised to bring a sack lunch.
• Preregistration is required and payment is due at the time of registration.
