Estimated Program Costs Required Classes

This program prepares individuals to provide technical administrative support to professional accountants and other financial management personnel.

Students must earn a “C” or better in all core courses before participating in an internship, service learning, or on-the-job training. A “C” or better in all core courses is also required for graduation.

ACC 131 Principles of Accounting I is a pre-requisite for many courses in the Accounting program. It is recommended this course be taken in the students first semester and in a face-to-face setting, if possible.

It is recommended students take program courses in sequence.

Students must earn a C (2.0) or better in all required courses with an ACC prefix before graduation.

ACC 171 Sales & Use Tax is a Spring only, online course.

ACC 311 Computer Accounting is offered as an evening hybrid course in the summer term, subject to enrollment.

CSC 116 information Computing is a suggested pre-requisite for the Accounting Diploma. This course can be taken concurrently with other first semester courses but should be taken before BCA 147 Basic Spreadsheets

Students pursuing the Accounting Diploma will be required to take the NOCTI exam in the same semester as ACC 171 Sales & Use Tax.
