Your Community Partner

Dr. Terry Murrell, WITCC President

"Being there for our students and our entire community is the primary reason for our existence as a community college. We exist to serve the people, families, and businesses in our region and we take this commitment to our community very seriously. For over 50 years WIT continues to add new programs, train business partners, introduce young students to potential careers, decrease barriers to accessing school and expose our students to working in a culturally diverse marketplace.

By supporting Western Iowa Tech and our students, you're ultimately supporting the future growth and overall enhancement of the Siouxland community as well."

- Terry Murrell

Mission Statement

The mission of the Western Iowa Tech Community College Foundation is to support the efforts of Western Iowa Tech Community College in providing broader educational opportunities and service to its students and alumni. To that end, the Foundation economically supports the College through student scholarships and/or grants. The Foundation also works to build the endowment which provides support to the College in perpetuity. To enable it to pursue its goals, the Foundation seeks gifts, grants, and bequests from alumni, business, industry, and other friends of the College.
