GAP Tuition Assistance

Western Iowa Tech Community College utilizes the Gap Tuition Assistance Program to provide tuition support for eligible participants in Iowa. Non-credit certificate programs are typically not eligible for federal financial aid. The Gap program provides funding resources to students who would otherwise not be able to afford training.

Eligibility Requirements

In order to be eligible, non-credit Continuing Education programs must meet the following requirements:

  • Credential or certification
  • State, national, or locally recognized certificate
  • Preparation for a professional exam/licensure
  • Endorsement to existing credential/license
