Description: Are you interested in seeing the ancient ruins and pyramids of Mexico? Come to an informational meeting on April 10, 2024, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Comet Learning Center (CLC) to learn more. Bea Houston will lead a tour group to México and the Yucatán Peninsula to see all the wonderful sites.
In our uniquely prepared trip, we will tour the Metropolitan Cathedral, Palacio National, Templo Mayor, Paseo de la Reforma, Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Teotihuacán, Nace el Agua waterfall, Cacao farm and chocolate factory, Aqua Azul falls, Campeche, Palenque, Mérida, Uxmal, Playa del Carmen, Chichén Itza, visit a cenote, Tulum and spend a day at the beach.
The trip is planned for March 8 – 17, 2025 (during Spring Break). Hope to see you there!

Description: Western Iowa Tech Community College will be hosting its annual Evening Reception for Graduates. For the first time this year, receptions will be held Sioux City, Denison, and Cherokee.
The evening reception will honor the incredible achievements of our diverse learners who will go forth and continue to strengthen our communities. Every student will be presented with a rainbow graduation chord. Additionally, TRiO students will be medaled and Indigenous students will be blanketed.
This evening reception is free and open to all Western Iowa Tech students who graduated in December 2023 or will be graduating in May 2024, and their family members. Heavy appetizers, non-alcoholic beverages, and desserts will be provided.
Registering for the event is encouraged.
