The Community Action Agency of Siouxland offers an Early Head Start program on the campus of Western Iowa Tech Community College. This program serves children age six weeks to three years who live in Woodbury County and it is free to those who qualify.

Head Start supports learning through play, creative expression and guided activities. It builds strong relationships as the foundation of early learning. This program enhances the development of young children and promotes healthy families. It also provides medical, dental, hearing, vision and behavior screenings. A mental health consultant is also available for children, families, and staff.

How to Apply

To be eligible for this program, families must live in Woodbury County.
