The Sioux City main campus sits on a scenic hilltop with open views of forested areas and beautiful landscapes. Conveniently located in Morningside, the Western Iowa Tech main campus is close to local restaurants and shopping centers yet ideally set in a quiet, peaceful area.
The Sioux City campus offers over 100 different programs to prepare you for the workforce as well as transfer programs for students who wish to transfer to a four-year college.
The campus is home to three housing options for students from other states or students who want the full-college experience. These apartment-style suites are located across the street from campus buildings so students can easily get to classes without a long commute. Housing residents can hang out in the common room and play pool, fooseball, and video games, or enjoy quiet time on the outdoor patio.
Students at the Sioux City campus enjoy a vibrant and friendly environment with many activities to meet new friends and have fun. Student activities include music festivals, comedians, arts and crafts, sporting events, speakers, and much more! There are also travel abroad opportunities and student clubs. For nature lovers, the Sioux City campus has a gorgeous walking trail through the woods and a pond for fishing.
