This course is designed to train nursing assistants and residential attendants to safely administer non-parenteral medications in long-term care (nursing home) facilities and related areas.
Prerequisite: 1) Employed a minimum of six months in the facility recommending the student, and 2) Current Iowa Nurse Aide Registry status (for use in nursing home setting only).
